Katie Moras
FOUNDER
El Bosque founder Katie Moras is a licensed K-12 Minnesota Spanish educator who has been in education for more than 20 years. Prior to education, Katie worked in Human Resources for a large corporation.Katie received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2018 and will graduate in May 2026 with a PhD from Hamline’s University’s School of Business.

Alejandra Rodriguez
DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Guatemala, Alejandra is the second child of three siblings.
When she was a little girl, she played 'teacher' all the time. She graduated from the Escuela Normal de Maestras in 2003, interning and then working at Colegio los Angelitos.
Moving forward with her career, she enrolled in the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala where she received her Diploma as Professional Publisher (Publicista Profesional). After that, she took a year and a half de la Licenciatura (Bachelor's Degree) en Ciencias de la Comunicación.
In 2007, she moved to the U.S. where she met and married her soulmate. She and her husband welcomed a baby boy in 2016, named Franko. In 2018, her daughter Maggie was born.
Alejandra graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Rasmussen College in Human Resources in 2017. She hopes to take art classes to enhance her creative skills. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her children.

Mary Carmen Fragoso
COORDINATOR OF STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Mary has worked at EBE School sine 2014. She spent the first three years as a toddler’s teacher, and the last few years as a Staff Development Coordinator. Born in Mexico City, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems, graduating from Universidad La Salle in Mexico City.
She has worked in the Early Childhood field for more than fifteen years, earning a Child Development Associate Credential in 2014. Now she supports adult learners as a Facilitator Content Expert Trainer by the MN Department of Human Services and a Professional Development Specialist on behalf of the Council Professional Recognition.
She works closly with EBE’s teachers, serving as a coach and mentor for their professional growth and development while implementing NAEYC standards and DHS policies and procedures.
As an educator, she believes that cultural diversity and a bilingual education is important for a successful learner. Teaching is an amazing profession, and Mary truly loves being part of a children’s growth and development.
She enjoys spending time with her son and husband, loves butterflies and quiet time in coffee shops.
About Our Teachers
All teachers at El Bosque Encantado are native Spanish speakers and have met the teaching requirements set by the state of Minnesota for Early Childhood Educators. They have degrees from either their home country or an accredited institution in the United States.
Additionally, our teachers and staff have:
passed background checks through the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services
been certified in First Aid and CPR, and
completed 40 hours of continuing education per calendar year
passed an FBI fingerprint background check
