We are so proud to announce that Katie Moras, owner of El Bosque Encantado, has been recognized as the Savage, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce’s Person of the Year! Chosen by a committee, the nominee must show interest or involvement in improving the business community and community affairs, and be successful in their field.
“It was clear that Katie was an obvious choice for this year’s award. It has been fun to watch her open her doors and grow her business,” Anne Masis, president of the Savage Chamber of Commerce, wrote in an email to the Savage Pacer.
“We were there for her ribbon cutting at the grand opening of El Bosque Encantado in 2013, and have watched her school grow. It’s obvious that she is passionate about her business, but she is also passionate about the students, the teachers, and the community.
